I live right down the street from this location and it's usually very busy. The staff is fairly friendly, I'm not sure if that's because all of the repeat customers or just overall nice people. Regardless, I'll be back again and again.

While waiting for a basic hot tea, I continued to watch multiple elaborate coffee drinks being cranked out for orders behind me. After 10 minutes of watching and waiting, I asked what happened to my tea only to find out they forgot about it. Thank you, Starbucks.

Wow! What a fabulous remodeled interior. This downtown Glen Ellyn Starbucks is my favorite of all the Starbucks. The manager Steven couldn't be a more pleasant person. This Starbucks is kept very clean. The Baristas are all top notch. I have been coming to this Starbucks since it's beginnings which is over twenty years ago and I always have a very good experience.

There's not much you can say about Starbucks as coffee is coffee unless it's burnt. My experience in this Startbucks was short and sweet. What I can say about the employees are that they are very accommodating and helpful. They are quick to help, and with a smile. When it's busy, they know how to get things done right and proper. I found this Starbucks to be a very good place to get coffee.

This Starbucks is among the best in the area. Sometimes my orders have a lot of "no this, no that and light whatever, etc.", so I understand how sometimes orders can get messed up. This location is the only location that has never messed up my order and is cordial with their guests. The one and only bad experience I had here was when a mean muggin' barista would not make the drink I wanted correctly (out of sheer laziness). MMB simply said "we don't do that". I've ordered the same drink at this location several times before. After arguing with MMB I said "forget it, then" and turned around. Seriously, it's a coffee with a shot of hot chocolate; oh so labor intensive. To my surprise , a nice barista got my attention and agreed to make my drink for me. Ever since, I haven't seen the mean muggin' barista and this location continues to be the best Starbucks ever. Parking can be a pain, but the drive-through is pretty quick for when you're in a rush.

I'm torn on this starbucks. Its been there, four blocks from my house, pretty much my whole conscious life, so obviously I'm a fan. But they have a big problem, which is the homeless people that fill it up on certain days and make it a VERY unpleasant environment. The staff is super great and friendly, and they'e rarely made me a bad drink, but I get nervous every time I go in afraid its gonna be full of less-than-pleasant clientele. I don't know what they can do about it, but its really a drag, and makes me hesitant to go there and hang out.

15 min long line. No blonde roast. No milk on the counter. A lot of screaming kids. It's not typical coffee place. My coffee was fresh and tasty. Everything else was a disappointment. The owner should hire more people. The girls over the counter did everything to provide good service but 3 clerks during lunch time with 25 peolple in line is not enough.

This Starbucks adds so much to the neighborhood since its opening, I have never had anything but great service. This store does a great job of supporting the gold standard of corporate coffee, Starbucks. Grab a cup and visit Glen Ellyn, founded in 1834, the same year Chicago was incorporated. The village works hard to make everyone welcome and this Starbucks is a good start.

Never again!!!! My daughter purchased a drink today. While outside having her beverage, a van pulled up. A man got out, put up a ladder and proceeded to pull a bird's nest from behind the sign. Before doing so, he announced "Oh there are babies in this nest." He proceeded to drop one of the chicks on the sidewalk in front of my daughter and several other people. He then got down, scooped up the lifeless chick, and put the rest in his van. My daughter was beside herself. I called the manager and said this was a thoughtless act in front of a child, and if done at all, should take place after hours Her response was, "We just call the order in. We have no control over that." Sorry Starbucks. You just lost a current and future customer.

Came in when there was a rush in the morning & ordered a caramel frappuccino. Wouldn't complain if they hadn't broken my cup & STILL given it to me like that. Started dripping on me & that's when I realized it was cracked. Went back in to tell another barista what had happened & she just gave me another cup instead of making me a new drink. I had to dump my frappuccino into the other cup just making a mess. Didn't even want to drink my drink anymore after having all my hands sticky.

I might be a city boy, but I lived in the burbs for a loooong time. I know my way thru many neighborhoods, including this area. I was taking Main St. (Glen Ellyn) and I remembered there was a Starbucks right by the train station. First of all I love Glen Ellyn, and I really love this particular Sbucks location. Plenty of street parking was available, so I parked right in front of the quaint little movie theater. The staff was very friendly, and made my delicious mocha just the way I like it. I also ordered a cheese danish and asked for it to be warmed up. The space is not that big, so the location was actually full. I decided to have my drink and danish outside. There was a bench close by, so I plopped myself down, and just soaked in the cool, crisp, fall weather This is one of my favorite locations, and I will go out of my way just to get my mocha here. Sounds crazy, but let's just say the small town charm makes the coffee taste that much better.

If you like arrogant, incompetent customer service that regularly screws up 2 part orders, this is the place for you. Expect to be frowned upon by staff & regulars for entering this snobby location wearing anything less than casual business attire. I recommend taking the trip to the Roosevelt Rd location over this place any day.

This Starbucks was quite full with morning customers when I walked in just before 10, which bodes well for the quality of the place. The drink (a soy java chip frappe) was, indeed, up to par; one of the better ones I've had. Since that's all I went there for, I'll mention that the service was half good, half bad. The register girl was very friendly. The girl that gave me my drink? Not so much; I'm pretty sure she wanted me to move on as fast as possible. So -1 star for that. Otherwise it's just your average Starbucks.

On warm days, it's fun to grab your drink and stroll around. On cold days, you can cozy up in the comfy chairs (if you luck out and grab one!) The baristas here are nice and say hi to the mister when we would enter the store. There's 1 big table that seats 6-8, along with 2-3 tables that can seat 2/table. And then there's bar stools that face out the store front. Then there are 2 sets of comfy chairs available. I'd say it's a place to set up shop if you need to get some studying or work done. A bit of in and out traffic since its next to the train station.
